Raptor Financial Technologies is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing financial trading technology company. Raptor is a leading ultra-low-latency market access and risk management platform, servicing the world’s largest financial institutions and their high-value order flows. The role is suited to a candidate with strong interests in cutting-edge technologies who is looking to gain a broad range of hands-on experience in infrastructure in mission-critical back-end technology.

 

Responsibilities

• Setup, maintenance and monitoring of Linux servers

• Setup, testing, maintenance and monitoring of FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) cards

• Maintenance of internal network

• Ongoing training and development will be provided to motivated applicants interested in establishing a career in this fast paced and dynamic environment

• Monitoring of trading platform and the network associated with the platform

 

Basic Qualifications

• Strong English verbal and written communication skills

• 1-2 years of experience with Linux (faimilar with commands such as sed and awk)

• 1-2 years of experience with networking

• A teamwork attitude and ability to maintain a professional demeanor when resolving issues

• “Can-do” attitude
