Raptor Financial Technologies is seeking a Market Development Representative to join our growing financial trading technology company. Raptor is a leading low latency market access and risk management platform, servicing the world’s largest financial institutions and their high-value order flows. This role is a critical driver of sales activity, developing leads through the nurture and qualification funnel and into the sales pipeline. In this role, you will develop and engage with prospects, articulate the Raptor value proposition, identify qualified opportunities, and advance the conversation to the sales team. A full-time position is currently available in Hong Kong.

What you will be doing

​​

• Lead generation, and developing and engaging with prospects

• Promoting product capabilities and service offering, assessing prospect requirements, and building new business relationships with investment banks and proprietary trading firms in the electronic trading and risk management space

• Identifying qualified opportunities with the input of the sales team

• Operating in a hybrid role of new business, including responding to in-bound inquiries, along with existing account expansion

• Active participation in sales and marketing conferences, sales collateral production and other marketing functions

• Maintaining lead, opportunity, pipeline and management data/reports within a CRM system

What you bring

​

• Previous customer-orientated solution selling experience with exposure to managing relationships and/or processes

• Active interest in the financial technology industry, and a combination of education, training, or work experience that enables you to navigate through the capital markets, banking and IT businesses

• Excellent active listening, presentation and consultative sales skills 

• Hunting, networking and self-contained working mentality

• Ability to partner effectively with the wider sales team and internal stakeholders
