Fusion Systems’ Raptor now live on Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect

January 25, 2017

Shenzhen, China (January 25, 2017) – Fusion Systems, the global provider of low-latency market connectivity and risk management platforms, Raptor, is now live with high volume order flow on Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect with a leading global sell-side firm. Raptor provides investment banks and proprietary trading firms with a fast, resilient and scalable market access and risk management platform, that offers consistent performance and integration to exchanges across the Asia-Pacific region, supporting both low- and high-touch flows.

The Shenzhen market is the world’s seventh largest, proving attractive to foreign investors due to being where fast-growing Chinese companies that operate in sectors such as technology, pharmaceuticals and clean energy frequently list.

Nand Keswani, Head of Regional Raptor Delivery at Fusion Systems, commented, “We are pleased to offer our clients full product coverage to Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect. This latest venue expands Raptor's live market coverage to include HKEX, Shenzhen- and Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect links, helping member firms meet full pre-trade risk management compliance while minimizing latency. Fusion is already working on implementing a new protocol, China Connect Central Gateway (CCCG), for China Connect, which is similar to OCG (Orion Central Gateway). China Connect Central Gateway will go live in Q2 2017, and will remove the dependency on existing OG gateways, while providing market data through a separate channel (OMD-CC). This will help to reduce costs, provide new functionality (Drop Copy), improve reliability and efficiency, and help in SDNet2/Circuit consolidation."

Raptor provides contractually-committed latency as low as 1.8 microseconds (market-native connectivity - hardware accelerated) at order rates of up to 10,000 TPS per server with pre–trade risk checks enabled. Normalized FIX-based connectivity is also available.

Fusion Systems’ customers can take full advantage of Raptor's command and control app, Flux, which enables electronic trading desks, risk managers and network operators to perform order management interventions, risk control, connectivity and alert management and network system health monitoring. Flux is an integrated app that can manage multiple venues, clients and accounts simultaneously in one view.
