Raptor Financial Technologies is seeking a DevOps engineer to join our growing financial trading technology company in Tokyo. Raptor is a leading ultra-low-latency market access and risk management platform, servicing the world’s largest financial institutions and their high-value order flows. The role is suited to a candidate with strong interests in cutting edge technologies who is looking to gain a broad range of hands-on experience in DevOps in mission-critical back-end technology.

 

Responsibilities

• Setup and maintenance of Linux servers

• Setup, testing and maintenance of FPGA cards

• Maintenance of internal network

• Monitoring of trading platforms and associated networks 

• Ongoing training and development will be provided to motivated applicants interested in establishing a career in this fast paced and dynamic environment

 

Basic Skills

​

• Strong English verbal and written communication skills

• Teamwork attitude and ability to maintain a professional demeanor when resolving issues

• “Can-do” attitude

 

Preferred Skills

​

• Basic knowledge of Linux

• Basic knowledge of infrastructure

• Experience in building computers
